MindPoint competes in the most prestigious category – “Software design”. The team will present Bulgaria on the Imagine Cup 2009 world cup final in Cairo, Egypt.
The project, developed by the Bulgarian students, called Envision and is a system for interactive training to be used in primary schools. It requires small investment but increases the pupils’ interest significantly at the same time. Envision uses only 1 computer, projector and mice for every student in the classroom. The teachers can create education materials fast and easy and to manage the full educational process. This software solution offers both really a low cost of ownership and effectiveness.
This is the first year that is possible to vote online for the Imagine Cup final. The lessons of the course “Java Web Development - Part 1” will be thought 2 times a week – every Tuesday and Thursday - from 18:00 to 21:00 in Hall 1 of the National Academy for Software Development. The other course „Introduction to programming with C#” will be lead every Wednesday and Friday from 18:00 to 20:30 in the same Hall 1.
All the students who are successfully passed the courses will receive the both certificate from NASD and another one for professional qualification from the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science.

The product, named B.O. DENTAL Management System, will be distributed free of charge. This software is developed according to all requirements of the National Health Insurance Fond (NHIF). The free version is completely functional and includes all necessarily modules for adding patients' data and for generating and sending reports to NHIF. ]]> Dentist The National Academy for Software Development (NASD) has developed specialized software for dentists. The product, named B.O. DENTAL Management System, will be distributed free of charge.
This software is developed according to all requirements of the National Health Insurance Fond (NHIF). The free version is completely functional and includes all necessarily modules for adding patients’ data and for generating and sending reports to NHIF.
In contrast to the competitive products, the software developed by NASD, will offer to bulgarian dentists to check the current status of the patients who are clients of private health insurance fonds in Bulgaria.
In addition to the free version, NASD will offer extra paid modules, connected with: sending reports to private health insurance fonds; making inventories; accounting; communications with patients; normative base – laws, regulations, codes; interface to intraoral cameras; ability to scan and automatically import xRays in patient’s dossier.
